WHAT DAIKIN ALTHERMA SYSTEMS DOES THIS CALL OUT VISIT COVER:
Below is a list of the most common Daikin Altherma system configurations. Don’t worry if your configuration doesn't exactly match the description below, so long as its a Daikin Altherma system we can attend to it. If you are not completely sure what system type you have, we can advise you during our visit.
DAIKIN ALTHERMA HYBRID - configuration is an indoor unit heat pump, Daikin gas boiler, outdoor unit heat pump with or without a hot water cylinder. (the indoor unit heat pump is wall mounted and the gas boiler is hung directly on the front of the heat pump).
(CALA CUSTOM) DAIKIN ALTHERMA HYBRID - configuration is a wall mounted gas boiler, outdoor unit Monobloc low temperature heat pump and hot water cylinder.
DAIKIN ALTHERMA HYBRID 2 - configuration is a wall mounted gas boiler, outdoor unit Monobloc low temperature heat pump with or without a hot water cylinder. (similar to the Cala Custom but with a different boiler and heat pump model)
DAIKIN ALTHERMA HIGH TEMPERATURE SYSTEM: configuration could have either a wall mounted or floor standing unit, could be a Monobloc outdoor unit or HT Split, with or without a hot water cylinder.
PREPARING FOR OUR VISIT:
All we need is access to your equipment and you can leave the rest to us. If you can please make sure that there is sufficient space around the units including the indoor unit, outdoor unit and hot water cylinder (if applicable) that would be fantastic. Please don't go to the trouble of clearing half of your garage or utility room for us. All we need is access as follows:
INDOOR UNIT: (if applicable) to the front, underneath and to the right hand side (say 400mm or so to the right hand side; if your unit is contained within a cupboard that is fine, so long as the right hand side panel can be removed if necessary. If this is not the case or you are unsure, we will advise you during our visit so please don't worry about this for now)
HOT WATER CYLINDER: Generally we can reach over things to access what we need in the hot water cylinder cupboard so don't go to any great trouble in here. If your cupboard is shelved and does have items stacked floor to ceiling then some items may need removed.
OUTDOOR UNIT: Again generally this area is fine because the unit must be kept clear at all times for air movement. If you need minimum clearance guidance for the outdoor unit, we can provide this during our visit and add those details to your report for your records.
UNIT MODEL AND SERIAL NUMBERS:
Don’t worry about collecting all your unit details, model and serial numbers etc prior to our visit. We do not insist that you give us all that information prior to booking. Depending on the system that you have, there are 4 sets of model and serial numbers to collect, one on the boiler, one on the indoor unit heat pump, one on the outdoor unit heat pump and one on the hot water cylinder. We will collect and record all of this information for you during our visit, so that you do not have to. These details are important for our records so that we can act swiftly in the event of any future breakdown. They are also important to for you to have in the event that you ever need to contact Daikin direct for any reason; they will need this information to identify your system. We will provide you with all of this information within your appointment report.
EXCLUDED:
Non Daikin Equipment.
All connected ancillary equipment outwith the Daikin Boiler and Heat Pump System such as radiators etc.
This visit includes for one Daikin Heat Pump system only (including Daikin gas boiler if applicable). If you have 2 or more Daikin heat pumps, please let us know.

Our professionals are on-hand to provide the required checks and maintenance, to keep your equipment running as efficiently as possible and help extend the operational life of the system and reduce the chance of breakdowns.
